Internal microphones

How do I turn of the internal microphones on a DP008EX I am new to this so please help me!!

Welcome to the forum Jennifer. The manual page 42 shows how to do this. If you don't have the manual, you can download it from Tascam's website here. I don't have the actual machine but just shout if it still needs clarifying... Tascam is not renowned for their manual-writing skills
