Since I could not find any other solution to doing a screen saver for my DM 4800, I came up with a power switch on the LCD power supply board. It works perfect by the way… I had to replace my display, so while I was in it I decided to install the switch.

Pretty cool but from what we've heard the cause is, I'm not sure this will do much as the machine is still on generating heat. It might delay the inevitable though. This mod would be also cool to install if you have a good LCD screen with a 2seemy card installed. Why bother having the display on if you are using the 2seemy card. Was there a reason to remove the LCD PCB when installing this?
