Metronome disabled for Rec and Play

I have my metronome set to run during Rec and Play. When I’m in Auto Punch, however, the metronome light goes out as soon as I press Record, and no metronome tone sounds. Same thing happens when I press Play. This ONLY happens in Auto Punch mode. Has anyone else seen this behavior?

Running the latest firmware, the Metronome is audible in Autopunch.
