having recently played around with a Fostex MR8 MKii I'm considering purchasing a Model 12 for greater functionality. The MR8 has an option called "Beat Resolution" which, when turned on, allows you to "snap" locate points to the exact beat and bar (it rounds it up or down depending on how accurate your button pressing is). This is a great function for me as I like to work with Midi clock for drum machines etc and the beat resolution allows me to punch in and out wherever I wish within the song to add new parts or overdub and everything stays in time with the MR8 Midi clock.
Does the Model 12 have a similar function? Or does it do it automatically when the using a beat/bar display? I couldn't find anything in the manual.
