Model 24 vs DP32/24 Preamps & AtoD's

As someone who records on a DP32SD and mixes in a DAW I am tempted by Model 24 as its much newer technology (~10 years) and I don't need inbuilt mixing features. That said, has anyone compared the quality of a recorded signal in each and does the Model 24 have a significant edge that would make it a worthwhile upgrade? Given its maximum capability is the same (i.e. 24 bit, 48khz) it does make me wonder if there is little to no change in preamps and A to D's at all!
