Hi all,

I recently purchased an all analog M-2600 MKII mixing console, which I'm still waiting on delivery of. The board includes the MU-2624 meter unit.

I was already informed from the seller that the two vu meters on the Meter bridge are not functioning, but that all bar-graph meters are.

I'm trying to get on jump on getting the vu's up and running, but so far I'm finding no technical docs on the MU-2624.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was never a Tascam owners manual for it (which probably wouldn't help me anyway) as it's basically a passive until that gets plugged in and only looked at! But if I could find a service page, schematic, block diagram, or priceless advice from a Forum member who might have dealt with a MU-2624, or similar, then that might be my next step (first step??) in the repair (or replacement?)

Any help either with past experience or with any elusive documents would be much appreciated!

No service manual or schematic likely needed on this job...
I received my delivery of the MU-2624 meter bridge, took off the access panels and soon found that the pcb for the vu meters had a physical crack in it its entire length. Of course disrupting several of the traces (at least!). I considered attaching as many jumpers as would be needed. I spotted about 6 damaged traces. Might be an easy job, maybe not.

I then did a little searching and found that the pcb might be avaliable from Teactascamparts.com
I'm waiting to hear back from them as to the compatibility of what they have and what I need.

Any suggestions or recommendations from the group would be very welcome.

Photos of the damaged pcb are attached. I have no reason to think I need either of the actual vu meters.20260122_214708.jpg Thanks
