Multiple track edits; deoxit

it's a two parter:

first, is there any way to use the "CUT" function on more than one track at a time. It's time consuming and inconvenient to do one track at a time, and could lead to mistakes

second, on using deoxit or something similar to unstick buttons, is it necessary to get inside the machine, or can the job be done by squirting in the gaps of the switch

Yes - you can perform track edit functions to multiple selected tracks at once. My stooge has been broken down for 6+ months due to major home overhaul - so I cant remember how at the moment - but search for the procedure and you will find it. It's simple as I recall.

Check page 60 of the DP-24 manual.




And yes - I've read that getting into the machine is a pain in the ass - so applying deoxit around the trouble button(s) is the preferred method.
