2488 neo. I have songs that I have several different vocals on them. I want to utilize the virtual track option, to make room to record new vocals. My partitions are close to being full, and I want to be able to record the final vocals without deleting the original ideas.
Can someone explain to me if. And how, I can do this.
I don't like deleting songs , I have watched a couple videos, but still do not quite understand how the virtual track function works. Or if it will create more room on the song, so I can do the final vocals.
Help for a retard greatly appreciated

@bretsky125
Partitions close to full
Only solution: In addition to your regular backup of the partition, offload older songs to separate external storage media for archiving. Move songs back and forth as needed.

Owner Manual, Section 7, page 66.
If you don't have the it you can d/l here.

All tracks are virtual. You simply choose which one, other than the default "physical" track, will become the active "physical" track.

[will it] create more room on the song, so I can do the final vocals.
Yes.
