Hello All...
Received my UH-7000 today and am excited to use this device. I have a W10 PC, installed the drivers and rebooted. Once logged back into the PC powered up the device. Plugged my guitar into a DI Box and ran the XLR line out to mic 1. Gave input 1 phantom power and the mixer displays a signal Have it set just before clipping. Plugged in my headphones (AKG 701's)and turned up the volume. I can only hear the dry guitar through the left side of the headphones.
Device information from the mixer:
Driver Version: 1.02
Firmware: 1.08
Sample Width 24 bits
Sample Rate: 48 kHz
Set up DAW (Reaper) with audio system as:
WASAPO (Windows 7/8/10/Vista)
Mode: Exclusive mode (polled) Guessing here.
Input device: Line IN (Tascam UH-7000)
Output device: Speakers (Tascam UH-7000)
Started up an amp simulator and it displays nice levels but I still can only hear the dry guitar (not simulator) only via the left side of headphone. If I close Reaper I can still hear the guitar so the issue appears to be before the DAW.
Hoping it is something simple (still swimming in newbie waters in the digital audio world) so I can start using this device soon. Any information - thoughts would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Dave
