No Audio In or Out on my 788

My 788 has been my main recorder for years. I haven't used it for awhile and when I went to record a song today I found it will play no audio out, nor will it register any audio in. When I play a song that I've already recorded I can see the meters moving but there's no audio. The cables are all fine but it's like the ADCs and DACs have gone completely dead.

Any ideas how to fix this or what is wrong?

Its can be to do with how the faders are set - "catch" "internal" or something like that. Try pushing the faders all the way up and then down again and then back to a position where you should be able to hear.
