No audio, meter shows no signal

Hi, all! I have a Model 12 that has started acting strange. The meter shows no input signal. I turned it off, disconnected all cables, reconnected cables and powered on. It then worked fine. Powered off and on again, the input signal was not recognized. I've followed the checklist to make sure Mute, Solo, AFL etc. are correct. The only change was a power cycle. Any ideas? This will drive me crazy if I have to disconnect and reconnect the cables every time.

First thing that came to mind is a afl/pfl/solo/mute button was engaged, but if you have centuple checked everything including the afl/pfl indicator light next to the display screen then next thing you can check if the mains on each channel are engaged and if the channel is correctly selected for the connection.
