I always was a dream of mine to own a stand alone recorder.
Yesterday the dream came true and the Tascam 2488 arrived via mail.
When I started dreaming there were no computers with that capability.
I once owned an Atari ST which I bought a sound module for that plugged into the expansion port. 3 Mb of RAM memory and 30 Mb of hard drive space didn't get you very far and I never did much with it.
I like to fiddle with things and don't really want to "make" it or feel a deep need or desire to share my music with other people.
I try to be positive online and have a slightly warped sense of humor.
