Hello fellow members, I'm having a issue with my audio interface and I really need help, otherwise, I'll be returning and asking for a refund.
I bought my interface 2 weeks ago and from the get go, I had problems when sending the sound to my audio monitors. Output 1 sends a dull, weak sound, only audible when LINEOUT knob is max and the monitor volume is max. i changed the cables, and the imputs on the monitor, so usually I have OUT1 to LEFT and OUT2 to RIGHT. If I put OUT1 to RIGHT, i don't get sound from RIGHT. So the issue is with the interface.
My question: Is it driver related? I tweaked the pannel with the driver but it didn't changed anything. Previously to buying it, I had ASIO4ALL due to the generic unit that I was using for recording. I installed the driver as the TASCAM booklet said, so I didnt uninstalled the ASIO4ALL driver before hand. It may have something to do with that fact?
I'm seriously considering to give it back and getting a focusrite scarlett instead. i bought this TASCAM and spent most of the time trying to make it work properly
