Please, I need 5.1 surround setup for Tascam DM4800

Hello Friends,
Please, I use a DM4800 which I don't really know how to fully use. I need to mix in 5.1 surround and I don't have a proper 5.1 setting I can load up to achieve a 5.1 surround output. I use Genelec speakers. and an IFFWDMmkII installed. I just need a setup i can load up to work with. Please, help me. Thanks.

To play the surround game you need some pre-requisites first:
- enough physical outputs from the DM (like the surround card or maybe the analog-card)
- alternatively something the digital outputs (like D-Outs, TDIF or ADAT) are connected to

You can establish a 5.1 surround setup right on your DM - though I never used it, this is a wild guess, but it might refer to the IF-surround card. Just look on your numeric enty panel (MODE/PAN/BAL/SURROUND).

Since there is more than one option, it might help if you describe how you connected your (surround) speakers (or even how you intend to connect them or how you plan to feed signals to them).
