PortaCapture Output to Computer via USB

Has anyone successfully connected their portacapture to computer via a USB cable and successfully played back any audio to their computer speakers?

What Ive done is connect a usb c cable between Portacapture USB port and computer.
Ensure it is the current audio interface
Selected a file from the Browse File list on the Portacapure.
Hit play
No sound

I can hear the file if I use headphones on the portacapture but no sound gets to the computer speakers.

The adverts say its an audio interface?
