Tascam DM 4800
I just bought a Tascam DM4800 this week ..Trying to setup my firewire card now... not that its set, and I hear audio..But the problem is its glitchy... So can someone help me out to sort it out properly...

I guess the problem lies in setting up the buffer size..

My computer's got 8gb of RAM..running on Windows 7 64bit ...
Using DAWs -Nuendo 4 ,Reason 6.5.1, FL10

Thanks ..

One of these (or combination of them) may help:
1. Increase FW card driver's buffer size
2. Set your FireWire port into "legacy mode"
3. Disable power saving options (Speed stepping, C1E) from PC's BIOS
4. Uninstall unnecceray devices and drivers (webcams, wireless devices, ...)
5. Buy a new FireFire interface for your PC

Thanks a lot ..Setting your FireWire port into "legacy mode" worked perfect :D
