I record tracks alone and I use the foot switch to punch in and out. The foot switch I have is a momentary switch that is meant to work with the model 24 recorder and was sold to me with the console, both new from Sweetwater. My issue is that it’s slow on the punch in (mostly have to hit it twice) and when I punch out it stops the tape that was rolling. I want to be able to go in and out accurately like I did with my old adat-xt and my Mackie 8-bus. I don’t want to have to stop and set the in and out points in auto punch. Can someone please help me? I think this should be a simple and basic function for this Model 24 and right now it’s hindering my ability to get good punches. Any help is appreciated.
