What does the monitor select button do?
Also, no mute for monitors?
Can you use more then one monitor system?

Thank you. (Still looking to buy)

You posted in September 2018 that you had bought a DP-24 but ended up sending it back due to a payment dispute with the vendor.

Then in January 2019 you posted you had bought another one on sale that was hard to pass up.

In March 2019 you posted that you were thinking about buying a DP-24; and now you're still looking to buy a DP-24.

What happened to the second one you bought in Jan 2019? Did you have problems with it? Anything worth sharing?

Just curious.

'Monitor Select' allows you to choose which signals to monitor. Its default position is 'stereo', so it monitors the stereo bus, but you can choose to monitor either of the send outputs or the bounce bus. The L/R meter bars on the right of the home screen show the monitored signal level so it's useful to check levels at various points. There is only one monitor system. There is no separate mute for the monitors - the signal goes via the monitor level knob to both the 2 monitor outputs at the back and the headphones.

The monitor select buttons allows you to select what you monitor. Options are:

Stereo bus
Bounce bus
Send 1
Send 2

Correct - no mute button/function for the monitors. Only a monitor level knob.

You can use the monitor outputs, headphone output, or stereo outputs for monitoring. However - the monitor and headphone outs are in parallel and are controlled by the monitor level knob - while the stereo outs are controlled by the master fader.
