I'm trying to find out the how to instructions to use this, meaning like step one, then do this, followed by this. If anyone knows where to find this information I would greatly appreciate your feedback.

The step-by-step instructions are in your owner manual. The manual also has a chart showing which functions the pedal can control. Look in the "Recording Functions" section.

Again I salute you for sharing your expertise. I did see it in the manual and just purchased the RC-3F as I'm trying to make my music productions as easily and less time consuming as possible. I make a lot of mistakes playing the guitar and drums but with being able to loop, I can save myself months in "start it all over, I made a mistake playback time."
