It's a good question.
I'm pretty sure that the RC-30P is a single function momentary switch that has a regular 1/4" jack/plug connector.
The DP-24SD has a 2.5 mm TRS jack/plug.
I'm thinking you'll need to upgrade to the RC-3F.
Keep in mind that if you are forced to upgrade - the RC-3F has 3 buttons with assignable functions found in the preferences menu of the DP-24SD.
It's convenient for not only punching in and out to fix something - but with multiple function(s) you can do repeat takes over and over again if needed or desired with just the foot switch since you can stop/play, "rewind", and stop/start recording all with the RC-3F. I also like this functionality because I'm not putting as much mileage on my stop/start/rewind/record buttons on the machine itself.
I find it very useful for my work flow.
