I have to, sadly, report after a decade of faithful service my original DP24 has passed. On THE most important recording session of recent times, I had to resort to my laptop and DAW. Talk about complicated!
Seems after reading up it may be the PCB Tascam E95439310A.
After a trip down to London from Peterborough I plugged the PSU in and pressed/held the on button . . . . .blank.
I will open her up to check obvious connections, but I fear the worse. Can't afford the part, so can't afford a new unit. Now what, I wonder?

Well that's too bad. Sorry to hear that - assuming it's permanently dead.

I see that new 24SD and 32SD models are up in price - which, in my view, wreaks of price gouging.
