After it sitting for years & on;y one song recorded, I was going to downdrade to the dp01, simple to use & FAST.
I talkd to Tascam, the guy was very nice, he told me you have a great machine, why downgrade...".you said you only did one song. Take some time & learn. " So, little by little I played w. the reverb, which I have never used & forunf the other eefcts. The song I di is dry, no effects.
I did try & hook up my external Alesis Reverb rack, but that did not work, & no need to learn that again also.
So, I will work on it, as of now I see no reason for the dp24 either unless I really get movin on this.
What I would like: does anyone have a song they did straight off the 2488 with no software tweaking. So many seem to record & then put it in the pc for more work. I would love to here a song done just on the 2488.
