Tascam 130 cassette deck - capstan motor problem

I have a Tascam 130 cassette deck that had been working great but has been sitting on the shelf above my computer, powered up and waiting for the next project. Well, it took a long time for me to get to the next project, and when I did, the deck was not working.

I took off the cover and found that the capstan motor does not spin when Play is engaged. The belt looks fine, but neither motor nor capstan is turning. Wish I had a service manual. Any suggestions?

The service manual can be obtained from Stereomanuals.com but if this low end deck is one that allows the capstan to all the time the hours burned up the motor and now you need a new one.
The 122mk II or III are better choices.
