Tascam 2400 / time signature question

Hello, I am interested in getting on of these units but I’m trying to learn more about it and any help is really appreciated.

1. Can I set up within the unit itself a song with many time signature/tempo changes?

2. Can I use cubase to “control” the 2400, Basically I guess be the master and 2400 the slave? I see it can send Mac but what about receiving?

3. I use cubase and want to implement this with the 2400, but I already have rme interface and I want to keep using this.
What kinds of workflows do you know of that may be useful for me? I just want to use it to compose myself not record bands or anything.

3.a. Since I already have RME will this unit be kind of redundant?

4. If the unit can’t achieve number 1. Then what’s the best way to do this?

Welcome @Erik001, since the Models are designed to be master only there is no easy way to sync the Model 2400 to Cubase, or any other DAW or MIDI equipment FWIW.
If the DAW of your choice can be MIDI slaved then you may want to go that way and use the 2400 as the MIDI clock/transport master to drive your system.

Re. the questions about RME, you could start giving all the details for us to better know your system and try to elaborate helpful answers.
