I have been getting decent results from using a Cyp AU-D4 ADC with my turntable. Sending the coaxial from the adc to my cd player that can up sample. The results are pretty good.
As I understand it the DA-3000 can also act as an ADC and I would assume is a better one than the Cyp.
I have connected the turntable/phono stage via XLR analog cables to the DA-3000 XLR balanced inputs, and have the coaxial out from the DA-3000 to my cd player. All seems ok, I can see the line in levels appearing on the Tascam so know it is receiving the music ok. However, I cannot get any sound out of the coaxial or AES connection to my cd player.
I think I have ensured the settings in the Tascam are ok -
ADDA, to on
Analog in, to Balanced
Digi In, to AES/EBU
Have I made a mistake with the above settings or am I missing something else.
Thanks
Andrew
