What must you have for it ?

A DM3200 or 4800, a PC or Mac with a compatible FW card.

Note that some newer PC motherboard chip-sets have issues with FW400 protocol.
I don't have firsthand experience with that so you'll have to do some research.

There are also some challenges with the newer and latest Mac OS and Thunderbolt configurations.
You'll have to search the forum for assistance on that topic.

You will also need the latest IF/FWMK-II BETA driver for Mac or PC.
