TASCAM FW-1804 Installed but no Sound!

Hi there!
I desperately need help cause I own a Tascam FW-1804 which works on an old XP system but in my Windows 7 64bit and after I installed the latest drivers (version 1.80), sound is heard for some seconds through cubase 5 and suddendly stopped! Never heard anything again!!! Everything seems fine in the device manager.

Dunno if this will help for anyone at this point & date (it's Oct 16th 2016 now)

But I was using driver 1.8 for my Tascam FW-1082, and then bought a FW-1884. I attempted to use the exact same 1.8 driver and it didn't work with my FW-1884. It turned out that I had to download the 1.8 driver specifically for the 1884! The 1.8 driver I used at 1st was for the FW-1082 only, DUH! I had assumed that all 1.8 drivers were the same for the FW series (1804, 1082, 1884), they're apparently not! Before I realized this, I thought I was sold a dead FW-1884 and started to ask the seller for a refund. The correct driver works like a charm now on my FW1884.
