New to the forum and new to the Tascam 2488 I have just got from the devil's playground.
I've read the manual cover to cover but may have missed something...
I can't hear anything to mix down, either through monitor speakers or headphones, unless I assign a stereo pair of output to the , er, stereo output, as per pg. 34 in the manual.
Then I can hear just the 2 channels highlighted.
It has a load of songs (& brief snatches) on it already and I've even tried recording a couple of tracks to see if it's some setting I've altered, but to no avail.
I have more than likely changed some setting or other, but for the life of me don't know what I've done.
Apart from that, it works brilliantly.
tl:dr I can't hear anything to be able to mix down.
Any ideas, please?
