Transferring tracks to a computer - my experiences

I was able to transfer 5 tracks to a computer for sharing. My reason for posting is what I was NOT able to do.

I attached my laptop to the DP32SD via an SD card. The AudioDepot did not show up. The next thing I tried was pulling the SD card out (with the DP32 powered OFF) and inserting it into a desktop - this was successful in transferring 5 tracks.

Any advice on getting the laptop to recognize the DP32 ?

Perhaps you meant to say “I attached my laptop to the DP32SD via a USB B mini cable” (USB A to USB Mini B; not USB A to USB micro B which is used by Android phones but not the DP-32SD)

In that case, to be able to see the DP-32SD files, go to menu, use the arrow keys to select “USB”, then click on yes. Once this is done, the DP-32SD looks like a USB drive to the computer and it’s possible to transfer files to and from the computer and DP.
