I have an US-4x4 and I have this issue. On both, mac and pc, and on both outputs with volume control. The Line Out 1-2 that has volume control and on phones volume control. If I put my volume down, the knob, to zero, I can still hear the sound source (a song from itunes for example). This issue is on both platforms even in monitorization. So the knob is not a problem. But if if I press mute button on my keybord, or mute in system, only on pc the volume is off. ???
So it is a software issue or I send it back the Tascam unit and choose another brand?
