Uscheduled REW and FFWD Stops

Hi there. Just new to forum. I've noticed that REW and FFWD will stop at points other than the obvious: beginning, end, location marks, IN and OUT points. I haven't been able to correlate these points to anything obvious....maybe last recording point etc? Any ideas? Thx. Jim.

I have the same issue. Sometimes, but not always, if I push the stop button two or three times before using the REW or FFWD buttons it helps. Unfortunately, it just seems to be just another quirk in the machine.

The last recording point is one of the special positions. Don't know any others apart from the ones you mentioned. Holding REW/FFWD down longer than a quick blip makes it move slowly till you let go, so this may explain random positions. I don't like this 'long-press' convention - seems counter-intuitive... and very frustrating if you want to back up a smidge after carefully positioning, then not pressing the REW button long enough so it jumps way back to a marker (or the beginning!).
