I have some old DA-88 machines and tons of work I've done on those machines. What devices do I need to just put tape after tape into my machines and copy everything to a computer? Do I need a MOTU PCI 424 and a rack mount unit (MOTU 2408 mk3 for example) and some software (where available)?

Posting this on the MX forum as well since I'll be using the system on both devices. Thanks! :)

Any analog-to-digital USB interface with a high enough resolution to accomplish what you need should be fine. My Behringer Q502 USB is 24 bit by 48 kHz. Something like that would do it.

    Thanks!

My TASCAM tape machines have TDIF I/O. The old MOTU stuff has that interface also. So I'm hoping I can move it all over 24 tracks at a time in the digital domain. I'm looking for someone who might have done that because as we all know, the devil is in the details.
