Using Reaper as a send effect

I've been using UAD effects from my Universal Audio interface (Apollo Twin MKII Quad) as send effects for my DP-32SD, and haven't noticed any perceivable latency. I do have a tad bit of phasing (when comparing dry to affected) when using Waves VST plugins, so I've stuck to UAD effects. I haven't experimented yet with trimming the beginning of those tracks I used VST plugins on to attempt to offset the latency.

Hi, @jkh0208! Welcome aboard! Thanks for your input. I didn't have any latency at all until I updated to the latest version of Reaper! I thought that was odd. I performed a loop back test an made the necessary adjustment and I am back in business!

I mostly use the built in Reaper plugins. I have heard the UAD plugins are very good so you should be in good shape! Good luck!
