Which Windows?

Hello I'm about to reboot an old Dell PC to use specifically with my 32SD.
I'm wondering which of the Windows mentioned in the manual experienced users think is the most compatible with this particular machine?
Are they all good, or is one in particular better than the rest?
Apologies if this is a stupid question, I'm pretty basic on the computer front. Many thanks.

It really doesn't matter. All you need is a USB host. Could even be Linux.

Yes it WAS a stupid question, feel quite foolish now, have totally mastered the art of backup/restore on a Windows 8:1/Dell PC.
All ridiculously easy!!
SD32 Manual instructions can all be quite daunting if you're only connection with the computer world is a smartphone.
Thanks largely to Mr.Tippings tutorials, (delivered with a mighty fine West Country accent) - my precious sessions are now safe - and I'm loving the machine with its most recent update.
It hasn't crashed as before (file error), but if it does - my material is all out of harms way.

@Jamie Sea given that in this world, some hardware is designed to be used with certain OS, I would not characterize that question as stupid at all. Glad you are finding the Tascam Forums useful!
