Hello,
I have just bought a brand new DP-24sd, although I have been using most of the dp range over the last 20 years. I am familiar with most of the settings so it seems fairly straightforward. The problem I have is: When I connect a mic etc to an input, press phantom power (condenser mics) and put the levels up and the monitor (headphones) volume up, before pressing the rec button I can already hear the sound. In the manual it says you should be able to hear anything before pressing the rec button as I have been use to with other dp machines.
Any advice would be great
