Cheap midi keyboard suggestions for a midi beginner

I currently on two Tascam 2488 recorders. One is a neo and the other is the original. I would like to explore how to use the midi function. I would like advice on a cheap easy to use understandable midi keyboard that somebody could suggest that would be a good starting point to purchase. Something about under a hundred and fifty dollars.
