I have this old, but damn near new DA-88 in the original box and everything. Everything looked good but I put a tape in it and it gives me error 68. When I tried to eject the tape right after booting it up, it briefly shows error 68, then says error 79. There's got to be a quick fix to this thing but I'm unsure where to start.
EDIT: The errors went away and the tape now ejects. The tape also plays, but not without difficulty. The ABS time is slipping. Looks like I'm going to need to clear the machine. I wish I knew how to lube the transport too, as it's been sitting for years.
