How to get buss stereo

I'm sending a stereo signal to buss 23 and 24 but its not stereo. It's easy to route but how do I get the buss channels on the buss layer in stereo.
Basically I've assigned my studio out monitor to the live room to buss 23-24 but its not in stereo.

Have you linked busses 23/24 as a stereo pair?
Have you checked "BUSS PAN follows ST PAN" option in OPTION/PREFERENCES?

If you mean link by "holding select and then enter" yes I have as for your second option no. I"ll try when I get in.

Yes the "BUSS PAN follows ST PAN" was selected but I got it working by holding down shift and then pressing buss 23 or 24. Not sure what tascam has called that action but it worked.
