Metronome FAIL

hey all,new user and member here-

Just brought a brand new DP-32SD and had an immediate fail straight out of the blocks.Set up a new song went to fire up the metronome and nothing.Went thru all the settings, tried it set to rec and rec+play but nothing.The manual says it should flash in time to the tempo set,but when its recording the metrome button is solid amber-and playing it isnt lit at all.
Any clues to what im doing wrong here?cheers!

Hi,

You'll have to verify two things :
- On the metronome page : set the level of the metronome
- The metronome can be heard only on headphone out, or Monitor out. It will not be heard on stereo out (cinch connector)

metronome level is at between 60-100 and im only monitoring on headphones.

Sounds like you've done everything right to use the Metronome.

The light should be on when it's set and you're in multitrack mode, and the light should flash in record and play (when the metronome is set to do both). Even with a blank song ( no recorded tracks) the metronome should work in multitrack when play is pressed.

What happens if you turn on the Bar meter? You shouldn't need to, but might be worth trying.

Lastly, have you updated to the latest firmware version?

ive tried with the bar meter on,and have also just updated firmware.
Perhaps there is a fault with the unit?its not a deal breaker but just a bit annoying

Seems an odd fault to be so specific - try a factory initialise.

ill try a factory reset-its a real head scratcher for sure
