Model 24/16/12 Wish List / Feature Requests (Although Tascam Won't See Them)

On the model 12 I like the fact that you can get compression and EQ on any channel with direct knobs. Would be perfect if reverb type effects were also available with one more knob. I can get the effects running fairly easily via AUX 2 but the current effect chosen seems to apply to to all channels. Can you choose a different effect for each channel. Have to admit I have not tried too hard to do this. Thanks for your input!

You can't choose FX by the channel. But that would be a cool feature.

A big pet peeve of mine with Model12 in its current state is that Footswitch only works when device is used as multitrack recorder. When I'm not using the mixer I use it as audio interface/DAW controller and while buttons like play/rec work with Logic Pro the footswitch presses are not recognized. This is by design as even manual states that Footswitch presses are not being registered in DAW control mode.

Really frustrating, I would love to be able to start recording while sitting at drumset. I don't hold any hope that this will be added, I don't know if there's any way to contact Tascam directly and suggest it but one can dream. The M12 is certainly a neat device but it's a perfect example of Jack of all trades-master of none
