Greetings,

I have been using the DP32SD for a few months doing a lot of track editing (mostly Copy/Insert) and while I am getting better at it, I want to incorporate some form of visual representation of the wave form to better help me select in/out/to points. I was hoping that I could output a signal (stereo or monitor buss) to computer/software but still do editing (real time) on the DP32. I have patch panels set up with plenty of I/O capability. Can anyone suggest software and methods that have worked for them?

Thank you David- while I have studied this forum, the Tascam manual, most tutorials and Phil's manual, I managed to miss that button somehow, I suspect that will help-thanks. I still am hoping to get similar on a larger format like a computer screen. My old eyes have a hard time staring at the small Tascam screen.

Keep in mind that you can "zoom" in and out using the up/down/left/right cursor buttons.

See page 43 and 44 of the manual.

Also.... in order to see the screen better - years ago I set my DP at a better angle by tilting it up in the back. Now it sits on a roll-away stand at a steep angle.

I use mine on an incline too @David Porter. Ikea sells a little laptop holder that works well for it.
