"Song is not loaded" Model 16

I just got my Model 16. I have everything set up for recording but when I press the record button it says "song is not loaded". I searched in the manual and online and could not get an answer to this.

Do you have an SD card in the unit?

You need an SD card and then go to menu to create a new song

Hello, yes there is a card installed that I formatted with the machine. I will try that in the menu and post back. Thank you.
