DP-32SD
I am in the market for a stand for my DP32SD recorder. I would like it to be on wheels and not be top heavy. I'm ok with it having rack space underneath for outboard processing. I would prefer that it have a tilt top for angling the DP32SD towards me while I record. I am curious what other users have.
thank you in advance for your feedback.

I've been Googling this for several days. Thanks for posting your worthless sarcasm. BTW, Goggle usually returns results paid for by sellers. I'm looking for honest feedback from real people with actual experience not algorithms driven by corporate profit hounds.

Sorry you don’t care for my ”worthless sarcasm”.
But not as sorry as I am that I bothered to respond to your inquiry with info I thought you’d asked for.
Good luck with that. I bet you’re just a hoot at band practices.

I use a QuikLok QL-400. There's no room for extra gear below, but it has full access to the front & back connections of the DP. Have posted a few pics here.
My only quibble with it is that the vertical pole works loose from the base over time and starts to wobble slightly. There's no danger of it collapsing as it's fixed with a large bolt from underneath. I've just had to re-tighten it a few times. Next time I'm down there, I'll try some glue/loctite.

How many people have you met that aren't aware of Google? I suppose your band is full of mouth breathers. Do me a favor and never reply to another of my posts.

Mark and Phil thank you both for your replies. Phil thanks for the photos. I was looking at that stand and was wondering if it was top heavy or sturdy. Sounds like it will do. Mark, thank you for the threads. I did a forum search those didn't turn up.

It's certainly sturdy and I've never felt it was in danger of tipping over. Have just measured the wheel base and it's the same as the DP32 width, so that probably explains it :)
Quiklok does seem expensive, but I've stuck with them over the decades for all my racks and keyboard/mixer stands, and if you shop around you may get a good deal.

Phil, that stand was on my radar and you've given me great hands on feedback. I ordered one this morning. I am using the DP32SD for a little songwriter idea recording setup away from my full blown studio. I wanted something I can just turn on and go when an idea hits me as opposed to starting up my entire studio system. I can't wait to get the stand and get started. Thank you again for your help.

No worries. In fact I have to thank you for forcing me to re-visit the issue with the bolt working loose. Turns out I'd not assembled it properly! 4 years to discover this
I've updated that set of pics with the details (you may need to refresh your browser page).
Have fun with your new mobile setup; I do exactly the same thing.

@bnwitt we apologize for @shredd's comments. He only knows which way the pointy end of the guitar goes. We let him off the chain for exercise sometimes.

MJK,
No worries. It's the society we live in today. I'm pretty thick skinned.
