Hey guys, been using a Tascam M-06 pretty heavily for about five years now; it’s my main summing mixer for both live and recording when I’m doing electronic music, running drum machines and synths into it. Sadly I’m down to 2 out of 6 working trim pots- ch 1, 3, 4, and 6 have all stopped working unless they are set to one specific position a little shy of 3:00 o’clock or about 90% of the pot’s throw. Any idea what’s going on here, if they can be repaired, or where some replacements could be found? This is my favorite mixer of all time and the only one I’ll use for what I do, nothing else makes a kick drum punch quite like this little beast does. Thanks in advance!

first step would be to spray some Deoxit or other lubricating contact cleaner into the pots.

Lift the knob a bit to get access to the shaft then squirt a bit in there using the tiny straw that comes with the Deoxit

then turn them fully left and right about a hundred times.

If that doesn't work you might have to open it up.....
