DM-3200 Studio desk, plans wanted

@Sampler1 Here's the pictures I tried to show you yesterday. 2Seemy via USB to my PC. You are able to change the color of it as you can see here, I temporarily set it up with a Blue/Green theme for my son. It is currently setup in the 2x size and goes up to 4x. I haven't notice any kind of issue with resolution. In fact I used to have the 2Seemy plugged in to a 20" monitor and haven't experienced any issue with the image. A great feature of this monitor is that it has a Picture-in-Picture function so that the 2Seemy screen can stay up while I work in my DAW as opposed to going to the background when I click anywhere on the DAW screen.

This is the Buso Audio Studio XL. I was still setting everything up when I took this pic. I haven't taken any final setup pics because a couple pieces of the desk were scratched up during shipping and am waiting for the new pieces to arrive.

@patrickr2018 Good stuff. I am sure that there is a way for you to strip the

tags. I may have forgotten to mention that to you in my earlier post. By the way, do you notice any lag in image performance when your display is connected via USB. If my memory serves me right, I did.

@Juzz Great looking room and a superb desk build to go along with it. Just curious, had you considered purchasing an Argosy Series 90 for example. Or, were the cost savings ($$$) too hard to resist. Have a safe and wonderful day. Peter.

Yes I based my design on the Argosy but with a few mods. My total build cost was about $800 AUD and the Series 90 Argosy was around $6000 AUD. I'll see if I can find my designs for you.

I have used Sketchup in the past as well. Quite versatile.

Trying to resurrect the thread. these pictures are great, but the plans and the links to the plans don’t seem to be working anymore. It still be interested in figuring out how to sink my DM flush with the desk surface. Anybody have any plans to post I’d be grateful.

@HiFiDavid I must have downloaded those plans back in 2020. Locating them however is going to be quite the undertaking. Backup of backups of backups, etc. So little time, so many gigabytes. Will reach out if I come across the files.

This is a company I used to buy a console desk for my DM-4800. Super high quality and spec'd for the DM series at least back in the day...I used a plan D series that had space for the 4800 in the middle section. It doesn't look like they list it anymore but you could contact them and I'm sure they can modify one of the offerings they currently have.... https://sterlingmodular.com/

So I checked out the link for Sterling and they have some great furniture. Pricey for sure but great. The issue I think we all have is not only cost but also how to customize for our particular workflow and client base. My challenge is I am a producer and mixer and recording artist. Most desks I’m seeing are dedicated for one purpose, a.k.a. producer or the other a.k.a. recording.
